The C-Chip is a disposable plastic haemocytometer used for manual cell counting. It consists of 2 enclosed, surface-patterned chambers with 2 ports for sample injection.
The C-Chip counting chambers are particularly suited for phase contrast microscopy, but bright-field viewing is very satisfactory.
In a conventional glass haemocytometer, improper fitting of the chamber and coverslip changes the volume of the sample introduced into the chamber. C-Chips chamber with integrated coverslip solves the problem.
